Bits-n-Pieces

I have to say, imo DYSON is the best vacuum that I have ever used! Hunny and I finally bit the bullet and bought one, after reading about them for several months...and I can honestly say that I've never seen my stairs looking so nice since the day that we moved in here! There is this awesome little attachment that is a mini-turbine brush and with it, I was able to thoroughly vacuum our stairs for the first time ever! *dances*

Now, I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Oddball Blanket #4! What is ever better, is that I have yarn in my STASH for it!!! Yes, even I have a itty-bitty tiny stash, but it is alive; tho it holds mostly Red Heart and Caron Simply Soft so far! YAY!

Walking out after work tonight, a magazine caught my eye which featured a type of diabetes called Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults. I am truly intrigued...one of the interesting features of this type is that they are often initially diagnosed as Type II diabetics, but they progress rapidly to insulin use to achieve glycemic control. Definately makes a person think...

OMGosh! I think that my dog finally decided to sleep in her doghouse this week! Ya know the saying, "doesn't know when to come in out of the rain"? Well, Hunny and I have asserted for years that we truly have the dumbest creature that God ever made, but a couple of weeks ago, she proved it yet again. We had bought a doghouse for her, to help shelter her from the elements (instead of having to run down and gather her into the garage everytime the weather started dripping)...so, we place it outside, and guess what our brillant pooch did??? She laid out in the rain, drippy and miserable, across the yard from the doghouse!!! Goofus!!! Babystep #1, we took the roof off and put the base in the garage for her to sleep in...and she did! Amazing! Babystep #2 we put the roof on (in the garage)...and she slept on the concrete. *perplexed frown* Then Hunny had a brillant thought, and we moved the doghouse and picked up the carpeting strip that was under it, and put a HUGE garbage can in its place...and guess what?!? Doofus has slept in her doghouse, with the roof, for two nights...! Babystep #3, you ask...move it all outside! :P
