Well, I'm learning all sorts of things about eating over the last several days. Since the realization that my blood sugar was sky-high, I have been working hard at changing my eating patterns. I have learned all about carb-counting, calories, fiber, etc. Much of it, I knew before, but it has taken this diagnosis to make me apply many of these facts.
On a tastier note, I have discovered some of the BEST snack bars. Kashi brand is wonderful...and I get a taste of chocolate too! The dietcian also introduced me to Fiber One bars too...and guess what, they are chocolate too! I'm so excited!!! Pretty sad, huh? :D
